Hiya, I'm Jo!

After 24 years working in healthcare, from receptionist to practice manager in a GP surgery, I know what it feels like to keep going, hold everything together, and quietly lose yourself in the process. 

My own experience of burnout and emotional overload led me on a personal healing journey and inspired me to create a different way of living — one that prioritises emotional wellbeing, quality of life, time in nature, and the courage to challenge myself in new ways.

During my healing journey, I became more self-aware and discovered tools to release unwanted patterns. I decided to upskill myself so I could support others navigating similar challenges — especially emotionally exhausted women, often in healthcare or caring roles.

Today, I help adults who are tired of people-pleasing, overthinking, and communication fatigue to understand themselves more clearly, feel steadier in their emotions, and speak up with more confidence. 

My approach blends emotional wellbeing coaching, clinical hypnotherapy, TARC EFT, and practical tools that help you set clearer boundaries, stop second-guessing yourself, and respond differently when life feels heavy.

268 miles. Solo. One step at a time. The Pennine Way taught me the same thing I help my clients discover — that you're far more capable than you think, and that the hardest part is usually just deciding to begin.

When I'm not coaching, you'll find me on the water, in the hills, or occasionally crawling through caves with a big grin on my face. I canoe canals and lochs whenever I get the chance, and in 2022 I walked the full Pennine Way, 268 miles, solo. Getting into nature isn't a hobby for me, it's a non-negotiable. It's how I live the calm I talk about. And honestly, it's part of why I believe so deeply in helping others find theirs.

I believe real change happens when you feel seen, supported, and equipped with honest guidance that actually works in the moments that matter. My work is about helping you feel calmer in yourself, clearer in your communication, and more like you again.
