  • Burnout and emotional exhaustion, particularly in caregivers, NHS staff, managers, and remote workers.

  • Chronic people-pleasing, including difficulty with boundaries, guilt-driven decision-making, and habitual over-giving.

  • Stress-related patterns linked to identity, self-worth, and years of putting others first.

This practice does not provide diagnosis, psychiatric assessment, or crisis intervention. Clients with active mental health conditions are welcomed where coaching and hypnotherapy are appropriate as a complement to existing clinical care.

A Note on How This Practice Works Alongside Clinical Care

Jo's work is coaching and complementary therapy, not psychotherapy or medical treatment. It is most effective for clients who are functionally coping but emotionally depleted, who are not in acute crisis, and who are ready to engage actively in their own recovery. For clients who are currently under the care of a mental health professional, Jo is happy to work in parallel, with appropriate communication where the client consents.
